Once you agree on a price in chat, you pay a 20% deposit to confirm the booking. This deposit is held securely and is not released to the provider until the job is completed. After the work is done and you approve it, the remaining 80% is charged and the full amount is released to the Hero.

You are always in control of the final approval. If you're not happy with the work, you simply don't approve it. The remaining payment won't be released until you confirm satisfaction. If there's a dispute, our support team will review the job history and mediate fairly.

If a customer and a provider can't reach an agreement, either party can raise a dispute through the app. Heroo's support team reviews the full conversation history — including agreed price, job description, and all messages — and makes a fair ruling. Our goal is always to protect honest users on both sides.

No price changes can happen without your explicit consent. If a Hero believes additional work is needed, they must communicate this in the chat and you must agree to the new price before any extra charges occur. You're always protected from surprise costs.

Yes. All providers go through identity verification before they can take jobs. Payments are processed through regulated and encrypted payment infrastructure. Your card details are never stored by Heroo. Every agreement is logged in the chat thread, creating a transparent record of everything that was promised.

Heroes are local independent professionals and tradespeople — plumbers, electricians, cleaners, handymen, pet sitters, and more. They sign up through the Heroo app, verify their identity, and build a profile with reviews. Many are self-employed locals who prefer the flexibility of finding jobs through Heroo rather than traditional agencies.

If a job is cancelled by the provider, your deposit is returned in full. If you cancel as a customer, our cancellation policy applies depending on how close to the agreed time the cancellation occurs. Full details are available in our Terms of Service.

Posting a job on Heroo is completely free for customers. You only pay when you agree on a price with a provider and choose to proceed. A small service fee is included in the total — always shown clearly before you confirm payment.
